About Me

Wenying Zhang
Wenying Zhang is a Chinese lens-based artist living in Seattle. She attended the School of Visual Arts and holds an MFA degree in photography. Always inspired and fascinated by the natural world, she explores landscape photography both as a medium and a subject and focuses on the tension between humans and nature. Her work is influenced by the philosophy and aesthetics of Chinese Shan Shui paintings and aims to visualize her spirituality and perception through photography.
