2020 is tough, everyone is like an island, isolated from others, suffering from all kinds of depressions. So am I.

     Wonderland is a universe I construct to give myself, as well as everyone who see this group of works, a place to get away from the awful reality during this pandemic.  There are no political and racist violence, no conflicts or wars, no pollution, no climate crisis in this wonderland. Only the beauty and serenity of nature exists here. I construct this world by combining multiple photos of my favorite sites I took and try to  put my experience, emotions and memories into the images. The large scale images invite the viewers to come into this wonderland and immerse themselves into this world.

    I think during this pandemic, everyone needs some therapy from nature and it is also the best time for us humankind to reflect on the relationship with nature.
